Millésime 2001
A sure thing, this cru presents the 2001 with elegant and complex black, and red fruits, and vanilla aromas. Once tasted, the tannins are definitely there, quite heavy, but still young. The harmony should be met after three or four years of aging.

Millésime 2001
A floral nose, peony, round in the mouth, tender, tight but melted tanins, ripe fruit, suave and fresh finish.
Le Point – n°1549 24/05/02

Millésime 2000
We love the ripe nose and raffined notes of blackberry, wild strawberry and violet, its good constitution and vigor, that assures its aging potential.
La Revue du Vin de France – juin 2001

Millésime 2000
Its robe is bright ruby. Its still discreet bouquet is marked by fruit (cassis, blackberry) with measured notes of vanilla. The tanins are both long and present. A bottle that accentuates the fruit more than the power, to be drunk in two or three years.
Le guide Hachette des vins – 2003

Millésime 2000
A slightly open nose, distilling the red fruits, beautifully melted woody notes. An attack of great amplitude, suave, evolving into a very straight print with a tanic background, massive, yet rounded at the same time – creamy notes, discreet mouthfuls of fruit, very peppery.
In Vino Veritas – January/febuary 2003

Millésime 2000
Score 86/100
Pretty aromas and flavors of blackberries and spices. Medium-bodied, with firm tannins and a medium finish. Better than from barrel. Best after 2005.
Wine Spectator – May 2003

Millésime 1999
Being used to being praised by the Guide, this cru has really become a heart throbber with the 1999. Its purple dress, with deep ambered reflections. The intense and expressive bouquet reminds one of ripe red fruit, vanilla and blueberry. Silky and fleshy tanins evolve with finesse and balance, envelopped in elegant woody notes. A wine with beatiful caracter, to be opened in two to six years.
