16.5  Drink 2016-2022

70% Merlot, 20%  Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep dark cherry colour. Very attractive soft herbal and tobacco notes and a touch floral, dark and dusty fruit. Great acidity, very soft texture. Rich and caressing but with freshness on the finish and a gentle grip on the very end. (JH)

Tasting notes : I like the core of fruit in this, with chocolate and berry character. Full and velvety. Love it.$$

Dark purple. Very fresh and dense and racy. A little bit of oak evident at this point but it should provide pleasure to Merlot fans.

Good, full ruby-red. Very expressive, pristine aromas of maraschino cherry, plum, sage and licorice. Light, juicy and precise, with soft red and black fruit flavors complicated by dried herbs and spices. Finishes with substantial but smooth tannins. 87-90

Drink 2010-2013

Cost : $13-$17

This dark ruby/plum-hued, soft, seductive, round effort reveals lots of purity along with sweet cherry and mulberry fruit, and a medium-bodied, easy-going finish. Drink it over the next 2-3 years (Tasted once)

Little on the nose , the palate nicely defined with some crunchy blackberry and cassis fruit, nicely integrated oak, a demure little wine with some pedigree. Nice lengh. Fine. Tasted March 2009.

**
